Apologies for not updating in a couple of days but I promise to put that straight with a bumper Blog! ^_^
To start with, the first day of the call centre course was a fiasco as I was the only person who turned up due to it turning out that everyone else thought the course started next Monday instead of this Monday! ^_;;;
And becuse of that, they decided to start yesterday instead where everybody did turn up eventually...
So far, even tho I've only done a day's worth of classes [we get a day off on Wednesdays! ^_^] It's been enjoyable and the lady who teaches us the Communications part of the course is a really funny lady...
We did various exercises in telesales including a scenario and I can't wait to learn more and more until I can hopefully pass the course and get a job thru it...
In the meanwhile, I'm hoping to go to Manchester to see a job agency next week as I got a letter from a recruitment agency saying that they'd read my CV with interest and that they want to see me to discuss my career history and hopefully I'll get a few leads thru them...]
Weather-wise, it's still cold enough to have to sleep with at least two quilts wrapped around me! They say it's as low as -20 degrees centigrade, it's that cold and I agree with them! What I wouldn't give to be in a warmer climate, somewhere like Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore...
I'm going to start work on reformatting my computer this week as I'm sick and tired of having to reboot everytime because a virus keeps eating my memory so I'm going to format the spare hard drive into two areas...One area for stuff like Windows and Program Files and another for Data such as MP3's and Documents...
I've started a new diet this week called the "Mind over Matter Diet" and I'm determined to lose weight so I can look like the type of guy that a girl would like instead of a pudgy porker... [I am the master of self-depreciation... *L*] Seriously tho, I'm going to do it for myself rather than for anybody else and it will make me feel fitter, healthier and stronger...
I'm also going to see a movie today called "The Eye" which is by the makers of a movie called "Bangkok Dangerous" about a girl who has a operation to remove cataracts from her eyes and it turns out the donated corneas are from a dead girl and as it turns out, she can see through the eyes of the dead woman in a sense and she goes to find out more about this girl and it's supposed to be really scary...
I'll write a review for it in my next entry...
Anyway, that's all I have to write for now but stay sharp and have fun till next time, minna! ^_^
