Welcome to another entry in the story that is my life...
The past few days have been really hectic in that I've been applying for more jobs, I've got to find out who I need to speak to at Pertemps concerning my claim for compensation and unfair dismissal, my new pet dog which I had for a week disappeared last Friday, I've applied to go to university and I'm still worrying myself sick over bills and whether I'll get a job or not...
To start with, the week before last, my mum brought us a new dog to look after which was a crossbreed terrier called "Jake" altho I called it "Jed" at first and it was a really friendly dog but it managed to escape thru a fence in our back garden last Friday and he hasn't been seen since and I found out today that he's been handed in to a dog home near Liverpool but we've got to find £65 to get him back which is a lot of money so I guess I'll have to borrow it as I don't want him hurt or that...
To tell you the truth, I miss him already and I'm thinking about whether I seem to have the mark of bad luck on me as everything always seems to go wrong for me... *sigh*
With the situation at Pertemps, it turns out that the reason why my solicitor hasn't had any letters back from them is because the person concerned has since left the company and I guess they haven't bothered writing back...
I spoke to someone yesterday at the company who told me this and they said that they'd find out who I need to speak to and they'd get in touch with me...I spoke to a woman at Pertemps today called Anna Nixon who apologised a lot for the delay in getting back to my solicitor in that the reason why he hadn't heard from them or Consignia was because they [Pertemps] didn't know who the letter had to go to and it seems that their head office may get involved in all this...At least it's nice to know that they got the letter off my solicitor and that someone from there was willing to apologise for the delay in getting back to me but I'm still going to sue them in any case because of my epileptic attacks happening in any case...
Jobs-wise, still no joy altho I have applied for a couple on-line today, I'm waiting for a application form for a warehouse job nearby and I'm also determined not to give up on getting a job...
I've also applied to do a pre-degree course at the Open University as I'm planning to start doing a Law Degree next year which will take 6 years to do including 4 Law units and 2 non-law units of which I've decided to take will be one called "Introduction to Humanities" and one on Pacific Rim Studies plus a extra International Studies module...]
I can't wait to graduate as I want to become a Paralegal [Legal Assistant] and work somewhere like London or Liverpool...
As for the rest of the week, I plan on still sorting out my computer, playing Yu-Gi-Oh and look for more jobs...
