Today I'm in Liverpool for my usual game of Yu-Gi-Oh and I'm thinking right now about my plans for the future...
As always I'm still determined to get a good job but in the meanwhile, I'm going to concentrate on my future university studies as I'm planning to study Law at the Open University in 2 years time but in the meantime, I'll be studying 2 pre-degree courses before then; a mini course on how to write essays starting next month and then in February next year, a course in Humanities before starting the Law degree proper in 2005 which will take up to 6 years to do depending on how many units I do in a year as I have to do 4 compulsory Law units and 2 non-Law units for which I've chosen one on Pacific Rim studies and the other on the history of various cities including ancient Babylon and Singapore...
Movie-wise, I saw Johnny English yesterday which is a parody on the James Bond movies like Austin Powers but just as funny if not funnier...
It stars Rowan Atkinson from Mr Bean and Blackadder fame as Johnny English; a idiot of a secret agent who's England's only hope when his fellow agents all get killed by a exploding coffin at a funeral and it's up to him to stop a evil French millionaire by the name of Pascal Sauvage [played by John Malkovich] from becoming the new King of England and turning the country into a giant prison!
This movie is a laugh-a-minute riot of a movie as there's all kinds of jokes both visual and non-visual and the theme tune by Robbie Williams is so catchy that I hope it's available as a single as I definitely want to buy it and put it up for download here sometime...
My next choice of movie is "Bulletproof Monk" starring Chow Yun Fat and Seann William Scott from "American Pie" which I'll be seeing the week after next as it comes out on Good Friday in the UK along with X-Men 2, the two "Matrix" movies and "Hero" which still doesn't has a release date but which I want to see badly as it's supposed to be a really good movie especially when you consider it stars the likes of Zhang Ziyi, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu Wai in it...
