As always, the past few days have been very interesting if hectic at the same time...
I saw X-Men 2 on the 1st of May and to say that it's become one of my all-time favorite movies of all time is an understatement...
It had it all:action, adventure, danger, excitement, romance, humor and fights like you've never imagined could happen with one good example being the fight between Wolverine and Lady Deathstrike...
It also has a good backstory in that the main villain; William Stryker wants to rid the world of mutants as he sees them as being freaks of nature even tho his own son is one himself and in a sense, he comes across as being like Hitler in that he wants to rid the world of things that are not perfect, like mutants...
Another movie that I hope to see in a couple of weeks is Matrix Reloaded, the next movie in the Matrix trilogy and from what I've seen in the trailers, this movie is going to be absolutely amazing especially the scene where Neo is flying like Superman from a castle but looks a lot cooler doing it...
I also started my course in writing essays at the Open University a few days ago in the form of doing research and reading the materials that were sent to me...
It's completely different from a regular university in that the courses are mainly done by mail, online and thru TV programmes but you still get a regular degree at the end of it all and I'm determined to get mine in Law in a few years so I can become a Paralegal or Solicitor/Lawyer...
Meanwhile, I'm still playing Final Fantasy II and am nearly at the end except for the final boss being harder than nails so I'll be building up my levels again and again until I can defeat him...
Last Saturday, I finally took the plunge and went to the Krazyhouse in Liverpool for the first time in months as I needed to recharge my batteries and also because I would have gone crazy staying in at home again on a Saturday...
Even tho it was a all-nighter, I had to leave at 2AM because of the last bus to Runcorn being at 2.30AM and the next bus not leaving till 10AM... ^_;;;
I had a really great time there especially as I got to meet up with my old friend Simon and we had a good laugh together and a chat about old times amongst other things; he's doing a placement in a few weeks time and I wished him the best of luck plus he's invited me to his graduation from university next year which should be fun and in return I've invited him to my graduation from university which I definitely will graduate this time round...
I met up with other friends while I was at the Krazyhouse and to be honest, I can't wait to get a job so I can visit there again on a regular basis as it made me realise how much I miss my friends there...The great thing about the place is the fact that you can make friends there easily if you have a common love of music like Rock, Heavy Metal or Dance and I seem to be a pretty well liked guy there considering the number of people who said Hi to me and said how it was good to see me again... ^_^
