I learnt from my stepdad yesterday that my grandmother who I've lived with all my life died on Monday!
I only got told yesterday because my family didn't want to upset me while I was at college on Monday or Tuesday...
Right now, I'm going thru all kinds of emotions including sadness, hurt and anger at God that this could happen... I knew she'd die one day, but two weeks before her 80th birthday is just cruel...
In the meanwhile, I'll have to move away into a two-bedroom flat sometime in the future as the place me and my gran shared is too big for me to live in as a single person...
On another note, the funeral mass for her is next Thursday and so I'll be helping with that as I spoke to the local priest yesterday who I didn't even know was organising it until I found out thru him as it turned out my Aunt Mavis is helping to make the funeral arrangements and she called him about organizing a funeral mass, but I won't go to the Chapel of Rest to see my Gran for the last time or go to the actual burial service itself as it would just hurt even more than it already does...
I guess now, it's just me and Jed [my dog] against the world but I'm not going to give up on myself without a fight...
Hopefully I can get a job to help pay the bills that'll be coming in and at least I should be able to lose weight if I have to seriously budget for food... *weak laugh*
Truly I face tough times ahead now for the rest of my life ahead and I definitely can't afford to have epileptic fits now that I'm living on my own, but hopefully one day I'll find a piece of happiness even if it's a tiny piece...
